Hi, I’m Danielle Sciocchetti (sho-KET-ee).
Hi there! I guess you’re here because you’re wondering, “What’s your story?” Great question—here it is!
I’m a busy, active Gen X-er with a love of food, music, karaoke, and (very amateur!) improv acting. I also firmly believe eating should always be fun, delicious, and simple.
In 2003, I was diagnosed with MS. At my lowest, I was bed-ridden with double vision, on IV steroids, and using a cane to walk. It was terrifying, but I knew I didn’t want this diagnosis to define me. I was in my early 30s with so much more I wanted to do, so I asked myself: What can I do to take control of my health and my life?
That question changed everything. I explored how nutrition and lifestyle choices could complement my medical care. Little by little, I rebuilt my strength, surrounded myself with an amazing support network, and focused on what was possible. Over time, I got stronger, moved to a new city, got married, joined a roller derby team, and started living the life I’d envisioned.
Now, 20+ years into my diagnosis, I’m thriving. I have no physical limitations, and I’ve been able to live with MS medication-free for the past five years. My journey taught me that while medical care is essential, the choices we make every day—what we eat, how we move, and how we approach life—can be just as powerful.
Here’s the thing: you don’t need a diagnosis to start making positive changes. You just need the right guidance to create habits that work for you.
I know how overwhelming it can feel to "eat healthy" with all the conflicting advice, fads, and myths—like the idea that eating well means giving up the foods you love. It doesn’t have to be that way!
I’m here to help you cut through the noise and find an approach that fits your tastes, schedule, and goals. Nutrition isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it shouldn’t feel like a chore. I’m not about handing you a list of “no’s.” Instead, I’ll help you discover fun, delicious, and sustainable alternatives that make eating well enjoyable.
Life is hard - feeling good shouldn’t be. Let’s make it simple, joyful, and all about you!
